Laurie's {March} Workshop

Thanks so much for hosting in your lovely new home Laurie!
We had a great morning making these cards and projects together.
3 cards and 2 projects {bottle cap magnets and a gift bag}
Card 1
Card 2
Card 3
This gift bag is so easy to make.  The base of the gift bag takes
just one 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper.
The top is a 4 x6 piece of paper folded in half.

Another angle.
To make this box you need one 12 x 12 paper
Score at 3 inches and 9 inches then rotate the paper once
and score at 5 inches and 7 inches.

Then fold and crease your paper at each score line.
I tried to highlight the score/folded lines with a black marker line.
After all the score lines have been folded you want to fold a triangle corner as shown in above picture.

Here is a closer look, you do this to each corner (4 times).

Then you will see the box take it's shape.  I used a clip to hold the sides together.

When every side is folded you want to run adhesive on the edges to secure the box.
Hopefully these pictures and steps will help you jog your memory from making this box at Laurie's.

Stay tuned for the next workshop.  I am hoping to have some more cards and projects to share with you in May!  Thank you Kerry for offering to host!
